How Does One Add Their Age To Their Yahoo Account/Profile (So As To Join Adult Groups)?
I moderate six yahoo groups which focus on photography. When I started these groups, I wanted the option of people posting material which may be seen by some as provocative (but years later, no one has posted this kind of material). So I created the groups as "adult" groups.
I am having problems with people wanting to join the groups and not having their age show up when I try to approve them. So as a test, I created a new yahoo account and tried to join my OWN groups. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to change my account so that my age shows up. As it is currently, I cannot approve MYSELF to join my own groups!
I am 45 years old and my birth date was entered when I created this new account. Thanks for your help! 
when you create an account, yes you do enter the date of birth, however it's up to the person to add that age to their profile-

click edit profile middle page and enter what those groups are asking for- click save. then click Settings, very small text upper right- then click Permissions, right. Select Anyone- click save
