1. What is the weather like in Hong Kong and when is the best time to travel there?
Hong Kong is located in a semitropical zone. Winters are usually cold and because of the humidity, it feels colder than it actually is. Summer is normally very hot. So the best times to travel to Hong Kong is spring and fall.

2. What should I take along with while traveling to Hong Kong?
It is recommended that you bring comfortable shoes. You will undoubtedly being doing a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must. Sunscreen is recommended, as well as carrying bottled water with you. If you wish to visit the beaches of Repulse bay don't forget your swimsuit. If you are photography lover, do not forget your camera, film and batteries, or you will never forgive yourself. An umbrella is also recommended for those unexpected showers.

3. What kind of vehicles are available for getting around in Hong Kong?
In Hong Kong, there are many options for getting around, such as taxis, buses, minibuses, Pedi cabs and of course by your private car. There are also cars and bikes available for rent.

4. What are accommodations like?
In Hong Kong there are accommodations for all types of people. Hong Kong has many star rated hotels and some of the most luxuriant hotels in the world. There are also many small hotels to choose from. Although they lack many of the amenities found in star rated hotels, the smaller hotels are usually family run and are quite clean.

5. What cuisine options are there in Hong Kong? Are there other options besides only Chinese foods?
The cuisine available in Hong Kong is quite diverse. Because a large number of people in Hong Kong come from all over China, the local food has an almost endless variety, and is far more delicious than anything you can find in a "Chinese" restaurant in the west. We highly suggest you try the local foods. We are fairly certain you will love it. There are also many Western restaurants in Hong Kong. Almost any kind of Western cuisine is available in Hong Kong as well as McDonalds, Starbucks, Subway, Hooter's Burger King, Pizza Hut, and KFC.

6. What are the currency and the ATM system in Hong Kong like?
Foreign currencies cannot be used directly in Hong Kong, but you can exchange your money at the many Bank of China outlets throughout the city. Most major hotels in Hong Kong will accept major credit cards. Your hotels also can change money for you and ATMs are easy to find.

7. Will there be problems with the language barrier?
Visitors to Hong Kong do not need to worry about the language barrier. The majority of Hong Kong's residents can speak English and each visitor will have an English-speaking tour guide. Almost all of the staff in Hong Kong's hotels can speak English.
