Cheap Photography Lighting ideas? (full portraits)?
I had been considering purchasing a couple pack of 250 watt equivalent lights from ebay (CFL lights) and taking advantage of individuals clamp light things u could possibly get from Walmart within the automotive section, and taking advantage of them for lights.. would they be vibrant enough? (they're 6500k so im not concerned about temperature)
or some "hot lights" 250 watt halogen work lamps at home depot, 2 of these.
would both produce the equivalent light? otherwise which creates more light? or other suggestions could be great! i've got a really small budget!!!
I'd stress about the CFL color temperature. Have a look at http://ledmuseum.candlepower.us/brought/spectra7.htm and perform a look for 6500 about the page. It will highlight the spectral creation of lights ranked at 6500k. The output is not so smooth.
Halogen work lamps will probably provide you with better color however you've lights which use much more energy and therefore are hot. You need to be more careful together.
I favor using regular camera expensive (off camera) but when your financial allowance is small then you definitely get what you could.
