Best format to submit B+W photography work to colleges?

I'm applying to colleges as a high school senior. I have picked out a selection of my black and white traditional photography works. They are my best prints from the dark room. I don't know how to send them to colleges. Colleges do not want original work, which is good since I don't have that many copies!
What should I do?
My works are about 14" by 12" done with a conventional camera. I went to a few photo places but none of them have a large enough scanner.
Most of the schools I'm applying to ask for either slides or a cd. However, I can't find a photo place with a large enough scanner to make one. Are there special photo/art stores for such thing?

You can either scan or take snapshots of your work and submit a CD. Be sure to allow for good lighting and a clean background. Note that the works are originally done in a darkroom. If you have a Mac, do a photo slideshow (tasteful) and always remember that less is best when you consider these people see LOADS of work each year. They can usually tell from a small selection if what you have is what they like.
